ORDER NOWOur journey began with a personal mission to lead a healthier life. Inspired by a number health related contents, we discovered the value of Greek yogurt, which was trending in Korea. However, the Singapore market lacked the thick and creamy consistency we craved. Determined to create something exceptional, YUMIYO was born.
What makes YUMIYO special is our dedication to creating Greek yogurt with the thickness and creaminess. Our yogurts are free from thickening agents and preservatives, ensuring a pure and authentic taste. Our yogurt serves as a versatile substitute for cream cheese or sour cream, offering a healthier option with fewer calories. We proudly offer a sugar-free plain yogurt sweetened with a hint of natural Stevia for balanced flavor.
YUMIYO yogurt follows greek yogurt process method, is produced by straining regular yogurt to remove the extra liquid from it. This process leads to a thicker and creamier consistency compared to regular yogurt. The preparation method is as shown below
1. Mix milk and yogurt starter well and pour it into a yogurt maker jar, incubate it for 7-10 hrs at 40 ~ 45℃ For the fermentation.
2. After the incubation, the regular Yogurt is ready to eat!
3. To make the Greek Yogurt (strained yogurt), pour the chilled regular yogurt to the strainer.
4. Strain the excessive liquid in the fridge until you get the desired consistency.
YUMIYO plain yogurt underwent laboratory analysis and certification by BVAQ, utilizing a 100g test sample, and the results indicate it is high in protein and low in sugar. The certification report can be found here COA_23-0249472-03456021-C.pdf, and the summarise result is shown below.
